Run for Elaine! Awesome Fund Raiser!
What better way to show Elaine your "stuff" AND help raise funds AND support her marathon training by volunteering your spirit and athleticism by running in the Park? Yah, I've been listening for several months now about demanding 5-minute miles from me! Now it's time for YOU to show ME how it's done! Spectators and hecklers welcomed!!!
Your "registration" (and if you just wanna watch then "spectator") fee/donation/generosity will help towards my fund raising goal here for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
Very very very special prizes for the fastest runners, and most of all Goodiieee Bags for everyone! And yours truly will be the "Gun Girl".
Worried that you may not be fast enough? Spectator, wondering what's in it for you? No sweat. We will have extremely competitive categories of the following levels of endurance and trash talking:
+ I'm taking it Easy (speed walking)
+ I'm a tempo runner (10-12 min/mi)
+ I use to run in high school! No sweat! (8-10 min/mi)
+ I run every day. Morning, noon, and night. I run to win! (6-8 min/mi)
+ I am #1 Running Heckler!!!
Lastly you vote for the course length!
